The Scottish Field Championship 2017 was held (as is has been for many years) on the last weekend in August and this year hosted by Forest Spirit Archers (FSA) course near Kirkaldy Fife. The Event is run by THE SCOTTISH FIELD ARCHERY ASSOCIATION (SFAA) the International Field Archery Association's National Governing Body for Field Archery in Scotland.
The thanks of the SFAA and all it members go to FSA for their fantastic and warm hosting on all levels, from set up, catering, marshalling and clear away. All went very well.

The event was very well attended with all Divisions being well contended and in true archery spirit of inclusiveness and camaraderie. The weather was almost perfect for Field Archery and as a result some high quality shooting was had. Many new Scottish Field Archery records were broken and set. A fantastic effort from all those attending and competing. A thanks also go to those in the background doing the administration, raffle, 20 pins and the many other tasks that need to be carried out to make these days a success.
We hope to publish pictures from the day here soon and will update accordingly. Full Results are available on our Results page.
Next year, in addition to the Scottish Championships at the end of August we also look forward to holding the UK & Ireland Field Archery Championships (UKIFAC) on the 7/8 July that will be hosted by our Inverness Club.
The SFAA are always on the lookout for people who are willing to assist in these events and we need you to ensure the future of such events. If you think you can help please use the email button below and the board will find a role for you in the Admin Team.
